Section 26, paragraph 5

Here's the part where I tell you about me. I'm not used to talk about myself as much as I did before, but anyway, I'll tell you what you need to know. My name is Nicolás Suszczyk. I was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. At the age of 7 the wonderful world of James Bond came into my eyes when I saw a huge billboard of Pierce Brosnan posing with his Walther PPK handgun dressed on a tuxedo for a promotion of GoldenEye, which was being shown on TV. I watched the movie and fell in love with the Nintendo 64 video game of the same name, and while my schoolmates were collecting Dragon Ball Z trading cards, I was talking about this guy in a tux that seduced ladies and made witty comments after dispatching his enemies. My dad and his rusty VCR introduced me to the Roger Moore films starting with The Man With The Golden Gun, Live And Let Die and Moonraker (in that order). Then came the others: Sean Connery, George Lazenby and Timothy Dalton. I admit it wasn't until I was 12 or 14 that I began to warm to the Connery Bond and adore films like Thunderball or Goldfinger, but I still consider Pierce Brosnan to be the best Bond of all.

My passion for James Bond made me get interested in many TV cult series or cinematic franchises like The Saint, The Persuaders, Remington Steele, Kojak and The Avengers (Steed and Peel, that is). I never got around Marvel, DC or Star Wars, sorry! Outside Bond, I consider Johnston McCulley's swashbuckler Zorro as my favourite action hero. The Thomas Crown Affair (both versions) and The Guns of Navarone are among my favourite movies of all time.

In 2011, I founded The GoldenEye Dossier, a blog dedicated to my favourite James Bond film, and in 2017 I joined my friend Jack Walter Christian to write content for The Secret Agent Lair. I have been featured in magazines like MI6 Confidential and Le Bond, and sites like Ultimate Action Movie Club, Archivo 007, MI6-HQPipoca Gigante, Universal Exports and The Spy Command.

I wrote two books in 2019: The World of GoldenEye and The Bond of The Millennium.

And that's all you need to know.
